From the moment you walk in, until you leave, you are THE most important person at Optics&EYECARE!!! With Victoria and Antonio greeting you and welcoming you in, you’re glad you’re there and know you are in the right place! I’ve been going to Seema (Dr. Mohanan) for almost 10 years and even now living in Stafford, I still make the trek over BECAUSE SHE’S WORTH IT!!! The whole team is! Victoria and Seema perform the first round of optical tests with state of the art equipment and you revel in the fact that you’re in the 21st Century! (I especially like the Optical Coherence Tomography [OCT] for my personal health and eye health)! Then Seema and I enter the optical room that I call the “this one or that one” room. She takes the time I need to make sure I feel like I’ve made the right choice for my lenses! We talk through changes in my sight and agree how to proceed, Seema always making sure YOU are comfortable with the decisions.

Then the fun starts in the front of the store with a wide array of options for finances, comfort, and style. Antonio asks me budget first, which makes me appreciate that they’re trying to get me into affordable frames, not frames I’d like, but can’t afford. Now that I can afford more, Antonio still goes for comfort over “brand name frames,” with me. It’s always a great experience for me at Optics&EYECARE! It will be for you too!!!

Sooo happy w my experience!! Dr. Mohanan is the best optometrist I’ve been to in literal years. She is super attentive and makes you feel like you’re her only patient. I felt super comfortable w the prescription she gave me and I didn’t feel rushed like I have in past offices!! And Antonio is such an awesome help when it comes to picking out glasses. I picked 3 glasses and he helped me narrow them down to the 2 best pairs. He was able to explain to me exactly how my insurance works along with my out of pocket copays that come with my plan on both pairs I chose (and it was a great deal for the amazing glasses I got!!) They weren’t your typical “pushy salesmen type” office which is so relieving. Will definitely be coming back!!!

I have had dry eyes since my 40's and also wear glasses. Other doctors I have seen told me just use the over the counter eyedrops or get a prescription eyedrop. Sometimes it was so bad my eyes were bright red and I carry the eyedrops in my pocket. One tear duct would clog once a year and I would need antibiotic ointment to clear the infection. On my first visit with Dr Mohanan I asked about dry eyes expecting the same answer as before but she told me about tear duct plugs. first you try a routine with drops and overnight gel, if that works plugs maybe the answer. So it did and now (for like 8 year) i go every 6 months. She numbs my eye adds my plugs and off I go. They melt naturally , you can't feel them and they let your eyes balance the moisture. I still need eyedrops occasionally when allergies flare but nothing like before. I highly recommend Dr. Mohanan and tear duct plugs.

My wife and I have been coming here for our eye exams since we moved to the area in 2018. Dr. Mohanan is professional, knowledgeable, and always takes the time to explain everything clearly. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the entire experience is always smooth. Highly recommend!

I have been with for 8yrs now and I love them. From the staff to the doctor so kind so understanding when it comes to make any purchases. The doctor will not recommend anything she knows is not necessary unless YOU want to… she listens to your concerns and do her best to provide it for you! The best love them
